20 Items to Carry in your Backpack for Disney World

items to carry in your backpack for disney parks

Headed to Disney World? Planning ahead of time can help you save some money. With the cost of food and drinks in the park it can get expensive.  I always take a backpack filled with necessary items, such as, snacks and drinks to help cut costs. You may not know this but you are allowed to bring in drinks and snacks into Disney World Parks (no straws are allowed in Animal Kingdom).  I would advise to take trial size of some items to keep your backpack light. Disney World does not sell chewing gum in any of the parks.

Necessary items to bring into Disney World:

  • Frozen Capri Suns (put in a separate small insulated cooler so it doesn’t leak in the bag)
  • Goldfish Crackers (trial size boxes found at the check out for $1)
  • Bandaids
  • Sunscreen
  • Small Water Bottle (fill up with water to spray on face on hot days)
  • Motorized Small Fan (can find at Walmart for under $5 and can go around neck)
  • Hand Sanitizer
  • Small First Aid Kit
  • Tylenol
  • Gum
  • Autograph Book & Pen
  • Hat
  • Rain Poncho (in case it rains or for rides you don’t want to get wet on)
  • Extra Socks (in case you get wet on water rides and to avoid blisters)
  • Granola Bars
  • Cell Phone/Camera
  • Park Maps
  • Extra Batteries
  • Trial size pack of baby wipes
  • Ziploc Bags for snacks, clothes and other items
